CIDA President Announces New Online Business Tool: Partners@CIDA

CIDA is dedicating itself to achieving the best possible results for Canadians, and for the children, women and men we seek to assist in the developing world. We are committed to delivering on the Government of Canada's aid effectiveness agenda, aimed at strengthening development results, which includes operating more efficiently as an Agency. Accountability and transparency are at the core of all we do; this is owed to our citizens and to those in partner countries. As part of this accountability, a key CIDA priority is re-engineering and streamlining business processes.

I am pleased to announce a new online business tool called Partners@CIDA as part of a broader agency effort to simplify the administration of grants and contributions called Harmonizing Operations for Partnership Effectiveness (HOPE). This new system, designed in consultation with our partners, will streamline business processes and enable all our partners to interact with CIDA in a seamless manner. Partners can immediately create and manage their own Organization Profile in an environment that is secure, easy to use and sensitive to the user's privacy rights. The eventual aim of Partners@CIDA is to allow you to submit funding proposals through this new system, thereby reducing the time it takes for us to process your proposals.
